Mine is a writer’s life: And what a wedding it was!

We did it! We watched our last unmarried child walk up the aisle with a wonderful young man – cheers to you, Bre and Chet, for a lifetime of happiness! Bre married into a loving and supportive family, and in return, they were gifted an extraordinary young lady. We now have our three children matched up with amazing partners. You are blessed, Ken Cruickshank! The wedding was in Austin, and every time I travel to Texas, I ask myself why there are so many people who don’t like the state. Also, so many people talk about how ugly Texas is, but my goodness, we drove past beautiful hills and mountains and open land driving on I-10 and 290. We are very happy in Arizona, but if we weren’t, we might be moving to Austin!

If you love reading dark psychological thrillers, then consider Eagle Bay: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C17XWN4Y

The transition of my memoir, Stand Up: a memoir of disease, family, faith & hope, is almost complete. You can see the slightly altered front and back covers in the image above.

Back to creating, writing, and editing – all parts of the author’s experience, and each step is part of a journey I thoroughly enjoy!

Cheers from the Sonoran Desert,

Ken Cruickshank
