Lots going on!
1. Doheny Drive: Three Boys and The Girl is finished! Two more read-throughs led to a few edits. If even two words in a sentence are improved after rereading five chapters, I believe it’s worth the time spent. I hope readers find it an engaging, touching, beautiful generational saga of friendship, love lost and rediscovered, redemption, and triumph.
2. I wrote the first chapter of Book 2 in the McCloud series. Ex-husband and stepfather Thomas Westbrooke returns to town, a painful surprise for Skye McCloud and her children, Johnny and Dakota. But they know what to expect, are well-tested, and are more prepared than Thomas could ever imagine. Nonstop action!
3. Death and Dishonor, the 400-year-old interconnected origin of the McCloud and Jamie Morales series, is currently being edited. I plan to double the word count, and I hope it reads as a gripping historical fiction novel. Wish me luck!
