I must decide which manuscript to create next while fine-tuning my synopsis and query letter for Doheny Drive: Three Boys and The Girl. Here are the options I’m considering:

1. Write Book 2 of my thriller series, McCloud. Book 1 is titled Eagle Bay, a psychological thriller set on the Oregon Coast.

2. Write Book 2 of my thriller series, Jamie Morales. Book 1 is titled The Emerald Cross, a domestic-cartel-military thriller set in Southern California and Mexico.

3. Expand my completed novella manuscript, titled Death and Dishonor, into a full-length novel. The Conquistador-era saga is a fascinating backstory mentioned in Eagle Bay and The Emerald Cross. I hope it’s a fun read for those who enjoyed either of my two Book 1 thrillers.

4. A long-shot decision is for me to write an epic fantasy combining elements of Game of Thrones, Outlander, and Harry Potter. I smiled as I spoke those words because what I have in mind is pretty wild. I wrote the first chapter three years ago.

We received extraordinary news this week! Our oldest daughter and son-in-law welcomed their precious little girl into their family and the world! New life is a beautiful gift!
