My second novel, The Emerald Cross, launched yesterday! Paperback, hardcover, and e-book versions are available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other retailers. I will not lie; this getting-books-ready-for-launch routine is beyond taxing, mentally and physically. But I thoroughly enjoy writing stories, so the process of creating, marketing, and distributing them digitally and physically is what it is (in the words of a great Belgian philosopher and prognosticator). If you read this latest thriller of mine – or either of my other two books – thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to turn the pages. And if you are so moved, reviews left on Amazon or Goodreads are always appreciated.

The Emerald Cross is live, so now what? It’s time to market the thriller further while simultaneously getting aggressive about completing the next manuscript, Doheny Drive (working title), a novel about the life journeys of four inseparable childhood friends. It’s a vastly different experience from writing thrillers, but I enjoy speech-to-texting in multiple genres, it’s a story I want to tell, and with some luck readers will enjoy and maybe even cherish it! And after completing Doheny Drive, it’s time to finish Book 2 of the McCloud and Jamie Morales series.
Cheers from the Sonoran Desert,
Ken Cruickshank
